COLLEGE STUDENTS!! . . .

To volunteer in a public school follow the steps below. 

While you're here, volunteer!!!

E  STEP 1:   In order to volunteer, you will need to come to one of the locations and times listed below to select the volunteer opportunity that suits your interests, course requirements and schedule. You will need to plan on spending about 30 minutes looking through the requests and completing paperwork. 

Wednesday, September 3 R-01 Santa Fe College 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Thursday, September 4 Terrace Room Norman Hall 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday, September 5 Terrace Room Norman Hall 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Monday, September 8 Room 361 Reitz Union 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tuesday, September 9 Room 361 Reitz Union 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

E  STEP 2:  After signing up for a school placement, and before volunteering in a school, you must attend one of the scheduled orientation sessions.  THIS APPLIES TO ALL SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS!

Tuesday, September 9, from 4-5 p.m., J. J. Finley Elementary Auditorium

or . . . Wednesday, September 10, from 4-5 p.m., Reitz Union, Second Floor Auditorium

            or . . . Wednesday, September 10, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Santa Fe College, R-01

E  STEP 3:  You will begin your volunteer work the week of September 15.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE! PLEASE READ!

The Alachua County School Volunteer Program does not
track hours via a software-tracking program.

Actual placements must be done in person as scheduled above
or by appointment at the Volunteer Office.
