Tutorial examples
These are the works of myself following tutorials for macromedia flash 8. macromedia flash 8 is great for making animation movies with items you can make directly in the program. So it is a very helpful program if you are serious in making a video or if you are just bored. I evaluated the tutorials and told you where to find them in case you are curious.
This was a flash skill I learned from a tutorial ( Here is a link http://www.ehow.com/how_2160603_animate-gradient-flash.html). It taught me how to animate a gradient. This pretty much means how to make it appear so the object changes colors instead of just having a one color object. I found the tutorial to be very helpful in getting the point of how to do this across but it could have been a little more detailed when it told you how to make the animated video. This was a very good tutorial overall.
This was a tutorial where it taught you how to make a object such as an oval spin over a period a few frames( a frame is a almost like a slide in PowerPoint you put things on it but they are not all on one big canvas like in macromedia fireworks). Anyway it told you to take the oval and use flash to rotate it 170 degrees so it goes in almost a half circle. This was the best tutorial I did because it was simple and clear in telling you how to make it spin and did not have unnecessary language to confuse you. This was tutorial on making buttons for a website. A button is like what I have to navigate through the page. It told you how to add effects to the button. Mine if you roll over it with your pointer gets bigger but if you click on it gets even bigger than if you just roll over it. This was a neat tutorial but it was very hard to understand and some of the commands do not work except on old versions of flash.
