Dear fifth graders,         You should come to the Howard Bishop Middle School Academy next year because the Academy has great teachers and great students. If you come to the Academy you could go to a great college when you grow up. In the Academy there is the Exploratory Wheel, which is where you go to band, art, Physical Ed, and Chorus. If you chose band you can play in concerts and if you play an unusual instrument sometimes colleges give you a scholarship. If you chose art you could make great artwork and you might get a scholarship. If you chose P.E. you could become physically fit and compete in races or marathons. You can be on American Idol if you are in Chorus.   There are many great classes like World History and not many schools have World History. In World History you learn about ancient Greece, Egypt, ancient china, and much much more. In Language arts you make a dodecahedron about a book and, make movie posters for a book you read, and there are many other projects. In Math sometimes we make origami and you learn fun math equations. In Tech class you get to make websites like this one and it is really fun! In science you get to do science fair projects and that is very fun. The School is very big and there are many good opportunities here at Howard Bishop Middle School. You can make a lot of great friends and the teachers are great too. During lunch you can eat inside or you can eat outside. if you are good you get Hawkoupons and if Mr. Thorne calls your name you get a prize or you get pizza.
