The book we read at school was called "The Journal of Biddy Owens"
The setting of the book takes place all across America in the 1940's where it is hard for colored players in baseball to play since of all the racism.
Biddy Owens, a fictional character who is in charge of equipments for a baseball team called the Birmingham Black Barons, travels in a bus with his team to play baseball.
The Negro League was a seperate league of baseball for African-Americans in the early 1900's before baseball segregated.
The plot is that it is the life of Biddy Owens when he travels all over America as he sees when baseball is going to be segregated.
Here are 3 scenes I've created from "The Journal of Biddy Owens"
