Dear Parents,

Your child's class is preparing for an experience at Camp Crystal Lake, the Environmental Education Center for the School Board of Alachua County.

The resident trip is a unique experience in many ways.
The students participate in an imaginative curriculum.
The class will study the outdoor environment to gain new insight of the natural world--"The Classroom With No Walls."

The students will live together, sharing cabin and dining hall duties and other tasks that help to achieve a sense of community, responsibility and leadership. Self-reliance, wholesome fun and new skills will help each participant gain confidence in himself/herself. We know your child will benefit from this educational experience.
