The processes of living things; anatomy, botany, and biomes around
the world.
MATH EMPHASIS: Measurement
and the MATH OLYMPICS, decimal operations, graphing, probability,
and statistics.
THE EARTH MOVES UNDER
MY FEET! - An explosion of
the EARTH SCIENCES! Processes that change the earth, weather,
space, and the ocean.
MATH EMPHASIS: Geometry, long division, and adding and subtracting
fractions.
MAY THE FORCE BE
WITH YOU! - Exhilarating
PHYSICAL SCIENCES: Building blocks of matter, energy, motion,
and kitchen chemistry.
MATH EMPHASIS: Ratios, percents, algebra, and integers.

the year! 
Science Challenges are exciting!
Their purpose is to allow you to experience real life problem
solving and critical thinking while inventing, testing, and
achieving successful devices. There will be four Challenges
this year: the egg drop, the sailboat, the catapult and the
racecar. Click on Science Challenges to
find out the dates and the requirements for each challenge.
