Catapult Challengee

We challenge you to build a catapult that can hurl a small dried bean through the air. The catapult can be built out of any materials you choose, but must be able to fit in a milk crate without sticking out of the top. This challenge, like all others, will extend over several weeks.

Report Format

What you need to include in your Sailboat Challenge Report

1. Title, Name, Date, Block 1 or 2

2. Real World Challenge: Give me an example of an event that is similar to your challenge.

3. Objective: What are you making, why, what does your creation have to do?

4. Materials: What did you use to make your creation?

5. Procedure: Step by step (like a recipe) tell me how you made your creation.

6. Results: See Science Challenge Sheet.

7. Conclusion: Did your creation meet the Objective? Why do you think it did or did not work? If it didn't work, what would you change if you made it again?
