Menus for all
schools are planned by a registered dietician at the district office. They
may include alternate menus or themed meals. Managers
may make changes consistent with the needs of their school. All menus meet
the meal pattern of the Food-Based Meal Plan approved for various age groups.
Nutrient needs as well as food preferences, availability and quality are
considered.
