Art Program

All students at Glen Springs Elementary receive instruction in Art, Music and Physical Education based upon curricula developed utilizing the Sunshine State Standards and Grade Level Expectations. Students attend these activity classes on a rotating basis throughout the year.

Art work from each student is featured in some manner during the school year. and all students participate in a non-competitive fitness activities on a regular basis. Musical performances and concerts are held throughout the year, with each child participating in a grade level play every year. Students in fourth and fifth grade also have an opportunity to perform off campus in collaborative performances with other schools during Music In Our Schools Month (March) and in the Alachua Co. Public Schools Elementary Honor Chorus.
