Parents will be contacted to pick up students who are too sick to remain in
school. A student with a fever, severe cough and constantly running nose should
not come to school. Use good judgment when sending your child to school.
Teachers may give students written permission to come to the clinic as
needed. A "Clinic Report" will be used by the teacher. The school cannot give
aspirin or other medication unless a parent/guardian comes to the school office
and fills out the "Parental Request for Administering Medication at School"
form. Medications can only be administered by the school's office staff or nurse
as prescribed.
When a child returns to school after a contagious illness or prolonged
serious illness, the principal may choose to request a statement from a
physician. Contact us when you child is ill.
