     CURRICULUM OVERVIEW WritingMathReading

Glen Springs strives to meet the objectives set by the School Board of Alachua County and the State of Florida Sunshine State Objectives in all subject areas including reading, math, science, social studies, language arts, writing, art, physical education, music, and computers.

Social studies and science content is also covered in the reading program.

The Curriculum Resource Teacher (CRT) serves as a resource to classroom teachers, in order to enhance their success in meeting the needs of the students. The CRT assists in the development and implementation of curriculum at the school level in accordance with state, district, and school-level objectives and guidelines. management and dissemination of instructional materials and coordination of the school-wide testing program are also the responsibility of the CRT.
