Student Government

Student Government is a leadership/service club. Its service philosophy is based on the belief and hope that if children and young adults are encouraged to volunteer when young, they will remain committed to the idea of giving back to the community as adults. Throughout the school year many community projects are spearheaded by Student Government members. Among them are the Thanksgiving and Spring food drives, December toy drives, March of Dimes WalkMania, and Penny Wars for Cystic Fibrosis. Student Government also promotes school spirit by organizing a school talent show, a school spirit week and a school dance (6-8 grades only). We make a concerted effort to focus on leadership, community service and school spirit.
