Message from the President
Hi,
I’m Linda Patrick and I am your current PTA president.
I want to welcome back all the returning students and make a
special welcome to those of you that are new to the school.
It does not matter if you are starting kindergarten or coming here
for the first time in 5th grade.
Idylwild is a great school and the staff, teachers, parents and students
make it that way.
The
PTA is a parent – teacher organization.
Our main goal is to make Idylwild a school that you will remember.
We do a lot of things during the school year and we look forward to
being able to work with you. The
PTA sponsors the Fall Festival, the $1.00 book sales, spirit wear, school
gardens, Spring Dance, and many other activities.
Last year we had a Safety Fair and we plan on doing that again this
year. Idylwild’s PTA is
looking at a variety of other fun and educational activities that everyone
can be a part of.
There
are challenges to putting on all these activities, and I invite all of you
to come and help out. It may
be that you can bake a cake, or put in a little bit of your time at
school. If you are handy with
tools, there is always a bench that may need fixing or maybe a new picnic
table that could be made. I
invite all of you to become members of Idylwild’s PTA.

will soon be announcing when the first PTA meeting will be.
It will be held in the early evening at the school.

school. Make sure that you
put “PTA” on the outside. I
