Differentiated Instruction

This session gives participants an orientation to the topic of differentiated instruction in mixed ability classrooms by examining the key principles that guide differentiated classrooms.  Included are respectful tasks, flexible grouping, ongoing assessment, and adjustment. It also explores ways teachers differentiate content, process and product according to students’ readiness, interests and learning profiles.
