Physical Education is all about fitness, sport skills, leisure and recreation, individual and team sports.

Our high school students love lifting weights in our weight room and working-out on the cardio machines.  Our middle and elementary students love to run and exercise in P.E.

If you asked us what our favorite sport is, we would have to say: basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, tee-ball, and, of course, kickball.

Our recreation classroom is full of board games, air hockey, puzzles, and we even have a scaled down pool table.

Some of the community activities include going bowling at one of the local bowling alleys, swimming at the city pool, fishing at UF fishery, and last year we even got to go to the Santa Fe College Women’s Basketball game and to UF Women’s Softball game.

We love when our friends from University of Florida and Santa Fe College support us. Some of our favorite examples of this support are: a group of us go to the O’Connell Center to work out on weights and play football, soccer or basketball; Tennis On Wheels comes to our gym once a week; every Wednesday we have a basketball clinic which is supported by UF students; Top Soccer also loves to come to our school and play.

Special Olympics is one of our favorite events. We have 3 basketball teams, everyone bowls, and track and field is always on our calendar.
