Sponsored Activities
Annual Storytelling Festival - April 28, 2007 - This annual competition celebrates and showcases student storytellers.  This year's festival will be held at Sidney Lanier Elementary School.  This festival is held to encourage reading, creativity and the oral tradition.
Jim Harbin Media Contest - Each spring students submit videos they have made in several categories.  County winners are sent on to regional and state contests and are usually shown to the public in a county festival showcase.  This contest is held to encourage visual literacy, creativity and technical skills in media production.
Intellectual Freedom Award - Seniors are encouraged to write essays on intellectual freedom.  Winners are selected and prizes are awarded to winning entries.  This contest is held to foster an awareness of the need for intellectual freedom.

Dues are $10 payable to the treasurer, Nancy Case. Checks should be made out to PALMS.
