How To Clear the Telxon

 

Always clear your Telxon befor wanding another collection.

 

To clear the Telxon press the exit key, "E" then press #3 "Erase inv file" .

 

The Telxon will ask "OK to erase inv file? yes/no

 

Press x for yes. The file will be erased.

 

When the next screen comes up choose #1 Record inv.

 

The Telxon will ask you to verify the time. If it's correct press x for yes. If it's not correct press z for no and put in the correct time and date. (Use military time.) If the Telxon beeps when you try to put in the 00 for the year 2000 just press the blue right arrow key and it will accept the 00.

 

The screen will display "Memory remaining 8910". Press enter and you will see the

entry screen which looks like #--------------------.

 

At this point you can begin wanding new books.
