TROUBLESHOOTING TELXON
- ***** When wanding the collection if you get a message that reads:
- "Bad Override?"
Answer yes by pressing "X" key.
Hold "K" key for three beeps.
This modifies the barcode reader so it will accept both types of barcodes.
***** If you have a problem in downloading/uploading your Telxon data to Dynix terminal and it appears to be stuck
Example: 61> this could be any number
To clear the problem,
Press "6" on Telxon
Press "58" on Telxon and <enter>
Press "3" on Telxon and listen for three beeps.This should unfreeze the barcode reader but you will lose the data on it. You will need to rewand that section again after clearing the Telxon like you would if everything worked.
***** If the Telxon beeps when you put in the year while setting the date just press the blue right arrow key and the Telxon will accept the date.
IMPORTANT -THERE IS A TIME LIMIT!!!
In using the Telxon unit to inventory, any barcodes wanded must be dumped within 1 to 2 days. If you wait longer than three days, the inventory data will be invalid and you will need to inventory the items again.
