| Please be sure to note the differences between the
requirements for graduation versus the requirements for entrance into
many of the colleges. Simply meeting the requirements for graduation
does not guarantee that your transcript will be acceptable for college
entrance. If you are planning to continue your education, it is
important that you take the appropriate coursework to meet the minimums
established by the State University System.
In addition to meeting the required coursework, satisfactory scores
on the SAT or ACT college admission test are required. The SUS has
established a "sliding scale" to determine the MINIMUM required
scores and GPA for admission to ANY of the schools within the State
University System. PLEASE NOTE: The sliding scale only determines
the Minimum required scores and grades for entrance. These scores by no
means guarantee any student entrance into one of the colleges. In fact,
quite often the GPA and test score for admittance into any of the
schools is much higher than those listed as the minimum. |
