Welcome to Newberry High School, where Panther Pride prevails.  I am extremely proud to be the Principal of a school filled with extraordinary spirit, which extends beyond the classroom, gym, and football field.  Clergy, political leaders, and business owners of the communities we serve all participate in providing a well rounded high school experience for our students.  With everyone working together as a team, Newberry High School earned the status of becoming a "B" school during the 2006-2007 school year.

For those who are new to the area, allow me to share with you my professional background.  Following graduation from Tennessee State University, I began teaching at Newberry Elementary and later transferred to Newberry Junior/Senior High, where I coached several sports and became a dean.  My administrative positions have included being the Assistant principal of Santa Fe and Buchholz High Schools and Principal of Oak View Middle School.  In 2005 I was appointed the Principal of Newberry High School.

My primary responsibilities encompass the curriculum taught here at school and meeting the academic needs of our students. I am delighted to be a part of the best team of teachers and staff in the district. The Newberry High School community is outstanding in its dedication and service to all students.
