How to Get Good Grades 
Be Organized:
- Use your agenda
- Use a three-ring notebook for class notes
- Have phone numbers of your classmates
- Keep your locker organized
- Get ready for the next day the night before
Be Successful in Class
- Be in school, on time, everyday
- Use all class time to do your work! (Then you have less homework.)
- Be prepared for each class
- Participate
- Take responsibility for you grades
- Be an active listener
Be a Smart Studier
- Find a quiet, well-lit place to study
- Organize your study time
- Study for your hardest subjects first
- Use tricks to memorize information
- Follow the same routine every night
Ask If You Need Help
- Ask teachers to clarify information you don’t understand
- Talk to your parents about problems in school
- Stay on top of it!
