Extra Credit -Due before March 21

Now that you have learned how to create screenshots, you may write up to 2 lessons for Extra Credit. Teach someone how to do a skill in one of the following programs.

INSPIRATION, POWERPOINT, WORD, or EXCEL

Then put your lesson in a powerpoint that MUST run automatically. See Mr. Rhodes for turn in procedure.

 

Extra Credit-Date Due before January 17

Now that you have used both presentation programs (Powerpoint and Photostory) Write a one page typed essay that compares the two programs. In your essay evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each program when it comes to using them for making a presentation. In a final paragraph explain if you had to choose between the two, which one would be the better program in your opinion. This grade will REPLACE any one grade on your report. The better the explanation and elaboration, the higher your score!

 

Extra Credit-Date Due before December 19

Now that we have begun researching about some of history's most important scientists. Choose a scientist that you think has made an important contribution to society and make a photostory of his life and accomplishments. Your photostory should be factually based and will be shown to your classmates. You should also have a bibliography that shows what sources supported your project.

 

Extra Credit- Date Due Sept. 21
EXTRA CREDIT 1-
Use Macromedia Fireworks or another image based program to design weemees of your other family members. 

EXTRA CREDIT 2-
Write an essay in your notebook.  Then when you are done, type it and print a copy for Mr. Rhodes.

Paragraph 1 should be about technology.  Use the internet to research and find out what is technology?  Then explain in your own words what it is.  In the Second Paragraph explain what you would say is the most important technology of the last 100 years?  In the third paragraph explain what would you say is the most important paragraph in the last 10 years?  In the 4th paragraph, think about the future.  What technology will be really important for our lives in the next 10 years?  Then in your last paragraph explain why technology is important in your life.
