Foldables
Foldables
are an interactive;
three dimensional concept maps that will help you organize information
from reading. This is a vital literacy tool that we will use
through out the year. Basically that means that foldables will help
you understand what you read! As you page through your Reading
Essentials for Earth Science textbook, you will see places in the
margin that outlines how to do a foldable for that sections. We
will be done some foldables in class but some will be assigned for
homework. We will not do every foldable but become familiar with
the different kinds.
I
encourage you to make your foldables as much your own as possible.
Once you get the vital information on your foldable add some
creative flair to it.
Ideas - use different colored ink and/or paper, add drawings, stickers,
scrapbook decorations. Make it more than just a sheet of folded paper with
pencil scratches on it.
