Mary Ann Myrand, Title I Supervisor

supervision of the Director of Compensatory Education

compliance
-- supports staff development for Title I staff, lead

Title I Supervisor

Services Program for the district
-- works in conjunction with the curriculum department
to support student achievement
-- provides administrative support regulating the Title
I program
-- monitors the Title I project for audit and federal
compliance
-- supports staff development for charter schools
Natalie Norris, Migrant Supervisor
-- coordinate Title I
Migrant program services in a multi-county area.
Services include supplemental instructional and support
services.
-- supervise, manage and coordinate personnel in the
delivery of
instructional and support services in a thirteen (13)
county service area.
-- develop/coordinate supplemental instructional
programs.
-- direct staff through individual guidance and
technical assistance in the
implementation of the program to assure compliance with
appropriate
federal and state statutes, regulations or policy.
-- coordinate the functions related to the
identification, recruitment and enrollment of all
eligible migratory children.
-- prepare and submit reports, forms or other documents
required by the Department of Education.
Deborah Childers, Teacher on Special
Assignment (TSA)
Overview:
-- the Teacher Specialist for Title I assists and
supports the instructional staff at Title I schools,
under the supervision of the district Title I office.
Emphasis is placed on implementation of researched based
curriculum models. Special emphasis is placed on the
correlation between curriculum models and implementation
of the researched based computer curriculum and
management system, with both the networked and
distributed models
-- also, the Teacher Specialist facilitates
implementation of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act
and Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

Kathy Small, Teacher on Special
Assignment (TSA)
Overview:
-- responsible for assisting and supporting the
instructional staff, school personnel and parent
involvement contacts at the Title I school sites.
Emphasis is placed on the implementation of
researched-based curriculum models in reading, math, and
writing
-- facilitate the implementation of the No Child Left
Behind (NCLB) Act and Supplemental Educational Services
