education can begin at SFHS and continue at a vocational center,
a community college, or university.
The Academy of Agriscience offers four specialty programs:
Veterinary Assisting
Animal Science
Agriscience Technology
Horticulture Science
Students entering the program in the ninth grade wishing to
enroll in any program other than Veterinary Assisting must enroll in the
Agriscience Foundations course their first year. Persons wishing to enroll
in the Veterinary Assisting program will NOT take the Agriscience
Foundations course. They will begin with Veterinary Assisting I; this is a
four year program.
