The FCAT Explorer website can be a helpful tool for the student to practice for the FCAT test.  In the past, it has been the previous year's actual test questions!  So it is a good way to get some practice.

Go to the website:  www.fcatexplorer.com

Sign-in name: [student full Last name][1st letter of student First name]

Password: 01[first 4 letters of last name][birthday month][birthday day]

For example:  John Smith born on April 1st

   Sign-In name: smithj (case does NOT matter)

   Password:  01smit0401    

 

A few notes:    

         Case does NOT matter

         The 01 at the beginning of the password are both numbers

          The birthday month and birthday day in the password must be        .            entered as two numbers, therefore, April is 04, and the 1st would .            be entered as 01

           Some students do have special sign-in names if their last name and .            first initial are the same as another student.  Each student will be .            given their Sign-In name and password at the beginning of the     .            year, and the teacher would have it also.
