Our HistoryTerwilliger Elementary was built to serve the raidly growing suburbs of Gainesville in 1964. Terwilliger was named for Myra Terwilliger, who was a long-time principal at J.J. Finley Elementary.
Remodeling and new construction was completed at Terwilliger Elementary in 1995 to accommodate over 700 children at the time. |

Our MissionThe mission of the Terwilliger community is to establish a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment to ensure that all learners acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes to become independent thinkers in order to succeed now and in the future. |
