Waldo Community School

Miss Tucker was born in Columbia, Missouri, and has lived in Texas, Ohio, and Oklahoma. She has lived in Gainesville since 1978. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Florida. She holds a Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education with an endorsement in reading.

Miss Tucker started teaching in 1981 at Shell Elementary School in Hawthorne. She joined the Waldo Community School Faculty in 1985 as a fifth grade teacher. She has served as the Curriculum Resource Teacher (CRT) of Waldo Community School since the fall of 1994. As CRT, Miss Tucker has the pleasure of working with all the teachers, students, and parents of our school. Her goal is to prepare the students of Waldo Community School to be responsible, successful citizens.
