Mrs. Whitten joined the faculty of Waldo Community School in the fall of 1992 as the Title I teacher. She is also the Reading Coach at our school. She is convinced that reading is THE critical skill that allows success in many other academic areas. Therefore, she is very excited by the opportunity to work more extensively with kindergarten through third grade students and teachers in the area of reading. Her goal is for every child to choose to read "for the fun of it!"
