2025 Collaborative Sciences Symposium: Health Equity

February 122 and 13 were exciting days at The Best Side. 180 students from the Medical Skills Program and IB Juniors joined forces to examine Health Equity and issues stemming from this global challenge.

As a required part of the IB Curriculum, the Collaborative Sciences Project allows teachers and students from all science subjects to bring their expertise to learn, research, and act. This year, our focus on Health Equity included guest speakers like Dr. Lakeshia Cousins from UF College of Nursing, pictured here...

...and panels of local experts from health-related fields.

Lots of learning, connecting, and thinking took place over the two day event. I wonder what we'll study next year?
