Tutoring for Students

We have multiple teachers that offer tutoring.  We encourage you and your student to ask the teacher if they offer tutoring.  All tutoring is free.  There are also multiple resources that can be accessed at home as well for review, tutoring, or enrichment.  We will be opening up more tutoring soon. 

1.  Civics teachers do offer after school tutoring when asked.

2.  Mrs. Hickox offers math tutoring for Math 7 Advanced and Pre-Algebra on Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:30pm.  Her room is 4-017.

3.  Mr. Jones has math tutoring every Thursday from 3:45 - 4:30pm for Pre-Algebra and Algebra.  Morning tutoring is also offered on Wednesday mornings before school.  His room is 4-019.

4.  Ms. McKaig offers tutoring for Reading in 6th grade every Thursday from 3:45 - 4:30pm.  Her room is 7-016.

5.  There is County wide tutoring online through Beyond the Bell.  It is free.  Middle School hours are from 4-5pm and 6-7pm.  You can go to the www.sbac.edu and click on the link for Beyond the Bell.

6.  MathNation is a free online tool for all levels of math.  You can access this by visiting My Portal on the school board website and then click on the Supplemental box.  Also offers live tutoring as well.

7.  Khan Academy is a free online tool for all subjects.  You can access this by visiting My Portal on the school board website and then click on the Supplemental box.  You can also use for review and enrichment.

8.  iCivics is a free online tool for Civics.  You can access this by visiting My Portal on the school board website and then click on the Supplemental box.  This is a great tool to help with review of material and also prepare for the Civics EOC.

9.  IXL is a free online tool for all levels of math.  You can access this by visiting My Portal on the school board website and then click on the Supplemental box.  You can review or do enrichment.  Great practice and you can see how your child is doing.
