Students who attend Newberry High School are no longer automatically eligible for the free breakfast/lunch program through the USDA beginning with the 22-23 school year. In order for your child to qualify for the free or reduced meal plan at Newberry High School, you must complete a meal application EACH YEAR. You can apply online or you can obtain a paper copy of the application from the NHS Front Office and submit the completion application to Your Choice Fresh Food & Nutrition at 3700 NE 53rd Avenue, Building B, Gainesville, FL 32609. We would strongly suggest that you submit your application as soon as possible to avoid a delay in approval as it may take a minimum of 3 days for your online application to be processed, and even longer if you choose to submit a paper copy application.
