Hurricane Milton Update #2

🐾 IMPORTANT! 🐾
The Alachua County Public Schools has announced that due to the projected impact of Hurricane Milton, ACPS schools and district offices will be CLOSED on Wednesday (October 9th) and Thursday (October 10th), including all extracurricular activities.
Schools will remain OPEN on Tuesday (October 8th). This includes the Extended Day Enrichment Program and extracurricular activities.
The district does plan to reopen on Friday (October 11th); however, this could change depending on the condition of schools and other factors. As to make-up days for the time lost to hurricanes, the district’s plan is to use the three Flex Days on the calendar (December 20th, January 6th, and February 14th), and more detailed information about this will be provided later.
