Winter Break is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 23rd, with students returning to school on Monday, January 6, 2025 (due to the hurricane make up days). As hard as it may be to believe, the first semester of the 2024-25 school year will end very quickly after that on January 14, 2025. In order to make sure students are fully prepared for their semester exams/tests and that they are not required to sit for such important exams after the lengthy Winter Break, these exams/tests will be given at Newberry High School under the following schedule:

 

Tuesday, December 17th - 1st and 4th periods

Wednesday, December 18th - 2nd and 5th periods

Thursday, December 19th - 3rd and 6th periods

 

ALL CLASSES WILL BE ADMINISTERING AN EXAM/TEST UNDER THIS SCHEDULE so we ask that you please make sure students are on time and prepared each day. Please also minimize late check ins and early check outs to avoid the disruptions to classes. Remember that semester exams can count toward a significant portion of the semester grades.
