The Rotary Club of Gainesville has now scheduled its Annual Youth Speaker contest. Contestants will present a five-minute speech based upon the theme of "How I Plan to Become a Good Citizen of the World" on April 3rd, with a final round to be held on May 6th.
In addition to the opportunity to develop and demonstrate skills in speaking, each of the three finalists will receive a plaque and a cash prize. The 1st prize is $500, 2nd place is $300, and 3rd place is $200. Don't wait, the deadline to submit your application is Friday (March 21st)!
