November 3, 2020 Announcements

It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements from today, November 3rd:

Our next Varsity football game is a post-season match up in the District Quarterfinals against the Trenton Tigers AT HOME on Friday, November 13th at 7:30 pm and tickets will be available for purchase tomorrow.

It’s time for our Winter Guard program! This program is very similar to Color Guard but typically performed indoors and participants may have the opportunity to perform in the annual competition in 2021. Students who are interested in participating in the Winter Guard should see Mr. DeRemer.

After school CROP sessions will continue (Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm) until November 19th. Please reach out to the Guidance Office if you are interested in having your child participate in these remaining sessions in order to make up missing credits for graduation.

Parents! Don’t forget there will be no school for students this Friday, November 6th, as it is a Teacher Workday.

Today’s reminder:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. As the weather gets cooler, please remember that you are not allowed to bring blankets or wear pajama pants to school. Also, students are not permitted to wear hats or hoodies in the buildings. Dress code violations may result in lunch detention.

Students, please remember to check your school email accounts everyday for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). Everyone believes in your success but “whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right --Henry Ford”, but most importantly, “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
