It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Monday, April 5th:

Great News! Prom 2021 will take place this year on Friday, May 7th. Tickets are now on sale for $55.00 per ticket and can be purchased from Mrs. Kathi Thomas in the Media Center. Ticket prices will increase to $65.00 on April 18th. To purchase tickets you must be off the debt list, so please make sure all debts are paid in full.

After school CROP classes began last week for students who are deficient in graduation requirements. If you have any questions about participating, please contact the NHS Guidance Office.

SOFTBALL: The softball team will travel to Branford County High School tonight to play at 6:30 pm. The girls will play again on Tuesday, April 6th, at Trenton High School beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets for the away games will be available at the gate on the day of the games.

TRACK: The boys’ and girls’ track teams will travel to Santa Fe High School to compete in a meet on Wednesday, April 7th, beginning at 3:30 pm.

Today’s reminder:
Tardies: Whether you attend school through the digital academy or as a brick and mortar student, tardies impact school success and student behavior, are a distraction to all students, and cause a disruption in teaching. Make sure you’re on time every day, to every class. Excessive tardies may result in lunch detention or ISD.

Students, please remember to check your school email accounts everyday for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). Everyone believes in your success but “whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right --Henry Ford” BUT most importantly, “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
