It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!

SENIORS: Don’t forget all the fantastic activities we have planned for the remainder of Senior Week!
Wednesday: We want you to wear your college school colors. Time to represent!
Thursday: We will be going to Hornsby Springs for the day, breakfast and lunch included. Spend a relaxing day with your friends in the Springs!
Friday: We want you to wear your Panther colors one last time! Let’s see your school pride!

BASEBALL: Make sure to come out to the NHS football field Thursday night at 7:00 pm to celebrate our Varsity baseball team and their achievement of becoming the Class 1A State Champions. There will be free hamburgers/hot dogs for everyone and the concession stand will be open selling drinks and goodies.

Today’s reminder:
Tardies: Whether you attend school through the digital academy or as a brick and mortar student, tardies impact school success and student behavior, are a distraction to all students, and cause a disruption in teaching. Make sure you’re on time every day, to every class. Excessive tardies may result in lunch detention or ISD.

Students, please remember to check your school email accounts everyday for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). Everyone believes in your success but “whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right --Henry Ford” BUT most importantly, “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
