It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Monday, September 12th:
Parking is now being enforced on the NHS campus. You must have a decal to park on campus. Only Seniors are to park in the Senior Parking Lot and all others must park in the gated parking lot. If you are parked illegally, you will be ticketed.
Progress Reports will be available in Skyward on Thursday (September 15th). If you are unable to view the Progress Report in Skyward, please contact the NHS Guidance Office for assistance.
Students who still need a passing score on the Algebra 1 EOC will have the opportunity to retake the exam tomorrow and Wednesday. Make sure you are on time and ready to do your best!
The SBAC food truck will be here tomorrow for both lunches. Make sure to stop by and check out the yummy food they’re serving.
The representative from High School High Tech will be on campus during Lunch A and Lunch B tomorrow. If you are interested in participating in their program, make sure to stop by and get additional information.
The Junior Class SGA will meet in the morning before school on Wednesday (September 14th) at 8:00 am in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom.
Senior class SGA will meet on Wednesday (September 14th) in the morning before school at 8:00 am in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom.
Juniors, your homecoming shirts are now available to pre-order. The cost is $10.00 and you must have exact change or pay with a check. Please see Dr. Bolejack before school, after school or during Lunch A/B to order yours. The last day to order shirts is next Tuesday (September 20th).
Robotics will meet after school on Wednesday (September 14th) at 3:00 pm in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom.
The National Honor Society will meet on Thursday (September 15th) before school at 8:00 am in Ms. Schentrup’s classroom.
Representatives from the US Air Force will be on the NHS campus on Thursday (September 15th) during both Lunch A and Lunch B. If you are interested in serving in the US military after graduation, make sure to stop by and get additional information.
Panthers please remember ALL head coverings including hats, hoodies, and earphones/headphones/airpods are not allowed to be worn on campus.

Tardies: Tardies impact school success and student behavior, are a distraction to all students, and cause a disruption in teaching. Make sure you’re on time every day, to every class. Excessive tardies may result in lunch detention or ISD.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day throughout the summer for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult.
