It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Tuesday, January 24th:
Report Cards are now available for viewing in Skyward tomorrow for the 1st semester. If you are unable to access Skyward, please contact Mrs. Honeycutt in the NHS Guidance Office for assistance.
Our Newberry High School newspaper, The Panther Perception, is now available in the NHS Media Center. Pick up your copy and find the hidden paw to win a gift card to Joel's Coffeehouse.
Pre-Collegiate will meet in the Dean’s office tomorrow morning before school at 8:00 am.
The Miss NHS and Junior Miss NHS Pageant will be held on Friday (February 10th). If you are interested in participating, see Mrs. Kathi Thomas in the NHS Media Center for more information.
Representatives from the US Marine Corps will be on the NHS campus on Monday (January 23rd) during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
Representatives from SWI Photography will be on the NHS campus this Thursday (January 26th) to take photos for the yearbook in the following categories: Senior Year (2023), Senior Cars, Senior Superlatives, and all of the Club photos. Students will be pulled from class only as needed and announcements will be made for each group.
Show your Panther Pride with a photobooth picture during Lunch A and Lunch B on Friday (January 27th) sponsored by the yearbook class. Stop by the NHS Commons Area and snap some pics!

Today’s Reminder:
COVID-19 Guidelines: The wearing of masks is optional on the NHS campus. Please continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing, and don’t share any items.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something ( “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
