It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Friday, September 13th:
There will be an Environmental Science Club meeting before school on Monday (September 16th) at 8:00 am in Mrs. Spina‘s classroom. We hope to see you there!
Don’t forget our Open House on Monday (September 16th) from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit each of your child's classrooms and see all the amazing things happening in the classrooms and around campus. Also, Nothing Bundt Cakes will be in the NHS Commons Area during the Open House selling mini cakes, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Newberry High School. We look forward to seeing all of you on Monday!
The Sophomore SGA will meet before school on Tuesday (September 17th) at 8:00 am in Mrs. Troy’s classroom.
Progress Reports will be available for viewing in Skyward on Tuesday (September 17th). If you are unable to view the Progress Report in Skyward, please contact the NHS Guidance Office for assistance.
Representatives from the US Marine Corps are scheduled to be on the NHS campus on Tuesday (September 17th) during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
GSA will meet after school next Wednesday (September 18th) in Ms. Holyoke’s classroom.
After school CROP sessions will continue next week on Wednesday (September 18th) and Thursday (September 19th) in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office ASAP.
The Annual Updates are open in Skyward Family Access for families and changes or updates will be permitted until September 30th. Parents, please take a moment to access your Skyward account in order to review/update your child’s information, emergency contacts, the Student Code of Conduct, the Consent for Health Services form, and more.

Tardies: Tardies impact school success and student behavior, are a distraction to all students, and cause a disruption in teaching. Make sure you’re on time every day, to every class. Excessive tardies may result in lunch detention or ISD.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders.
