September 16, 2024 Announcements
It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Monday, September 16th:
Don’t forget our Open House is tonight from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit each of your child's classrooms and see all the amazing things happening in the classrooms and around campus. Also, Nothing Bundt Cakes will be in the NHS Commons Area during the Open House selling mini cakes, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Newberry High School. We look forward to seeing all of you on Monday!
IMPORTANT: For the safety and security of everyone on campus, please DO NOT open the entrance gate for anyone, even if you think you may know them. Students and visitors MUST ONLY be let into our campus by staff in the NHS Front Office. If you are asked to open the gate, please let them know that they must ring the bell to be buzzed in.
The Sophomore SGA will meet before school tomorrow at 8:00 am in Mrs. Troy’s classroom.

We are committed to the success of ALL our students and want all our students to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
TODAY’S REMINDER:
Food and Drinks: There should be no food or drinks in the buildings which are from outside campus. NHS is a closed campus and students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch. Additionally, you may not have food dropped off or delivered to you. Students are not allowed to bring Polar Cups or “to go” cups to campus. Water bottles are encouraged and we have several bottle filling stations around campus.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
