December 11, 2024 Announcements

It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Wednesday, December 11th:
REMINDER: Panthers, don't forget to bring your laptop and charging cord to school EVERY DAY as most of the testing this year will be done on the laptops. Additionally, these laptops provide important access to digital textbooks and assist students in transitioning between classwork, testing, and homework. (If your laptop has stopped working or has other operational issues, please bring it so the NHS Site Tech, Mr. Phillips, can investigate and diagnose any issues.)
CLASS OF 2025: Senior Yearbook Ads are now on sale through January 11, 2025. Space is very limited so if you are interested in purchasing an ad for your graduating student, please visit the website at https://sites.google.com/gm.sbac.edu/yearbook/home as soon as possible. All designs, photos, and special messages for the senior ads must be completed on the website.
Seniors don’t forget to order your caps and gowns for graduation. Prices are expected to increase soon so don’t wait! Order forms are available in the NHS Front Office or online at https://www.jostens.com/.../1038876/Newberry-High-School/...
NHS Yearbooks are now on sale for $55.00. After February 1, 2025, the price of the Yearbooks will increase to $65.00, so don't wait to get yours! You can place your order for a Yearbook at https://sites.google.com/gm.sbac.edu/yearbook/home. The ordering website also has important information AND deadlines for Class of 2025, NHS staff, Student Government, Clubs, and special projects for the Yearbook. Check back often for updates!
We are committed to the success of ALL our students! Panthers, please remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
TODAY’S REMINDER:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
