It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Tuesday, April 1st:
REMINDER: NHS is a closed campus and students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch. Additionally, students may not have food dropped off or delivered to them at campus. Students are not allowed to bring Polar Cups or “to go” cups to campus. Water bottles are encouraged and we have several bottle filling stations around campus.
Seniors if you haven’t ordered your cap and gown you must do so soon time is running out. There are only 62 days till Graduation!
After school CROP sessions for students who are credit deficient for graduation will continue after school (today through Thursday) in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 6:15 pm. There are many remaining dates and it’s not too late to participate! If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office ASAP.
The Freshmen SGA will meet before school tomorrow at 8:00 am in the NHS Media Center.
The National Honor Society will meet tomorrow before school at 8:10 am in Mrs. Troy’s classroom.
Representatives from the US Army are scheduled to be on the NHS campus tomorrow during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
It’s time to elect your Student Government Association for 2025-26. Have you ever wanted to be involved and help run the student events on campus? Do you want to help make decisions? Here’s your chance. See Mr. Marlowe sometime this week to pick up your candidate packet. The forms will be due on Friday (April 11th), and the election will be Friday (April 18th). Don't wait, get started today!

TODAY’S REMINDER:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders.
