Graduation Commencement Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that the Newberry High School graduation commencement ceremony for the Class of 2021 will be an in-person event in the O’Connell Center at the UF Campus on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm. Please note the following information that has been provided at this time:
  • Each student will be assigned four (4) tickets for attendees to the commencement ceremony
  • The issued tickets will be numbered and attendees must stay in the assigned seats
  • Seats will be assigned randomly, in pairs, to promote social distancing
  • There will be no student rehearsal at the O’Connell Center prior to the commencement ceremony
  • Our commencement ceremony will be livestreamed for viewing by those who are not able to attend
Please remember that students must wear the approved cap and gown to participate in this commencement ceremony. If you have not already done so, please make sure to order your cap and gown for graduation from Herff Jones. Order forms are available in the NHS front office or you can order directly from Herff Jones at their website:
