Winter Break is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 19th with students returning to school on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 (due to the hurricane make up day). As hard as it may be to believe, the first semester of the 2022-23 school year will end very quickly after that on January 11, 2023. In order to make sure students are fully prepared for their semester exams/tests and that they are not required to sit for such important exams after the lengthy Winter Break, these exams/tests will be given at Newberry High School under the following schedule:

• Tuesday, December 13th - 1st and 4th periods
• Wednesday, December 14th - 2nd and 5th periods
• Thursday, December 15th - 3rd and 6th periods

We have attached a copy of the schedule to this email for your reference. ALL classes will be administering an exam/test under this schedule, so we are asking that you please make sure students are on time and prepared each day. Please also minimize late check ins and early check-outs to avoid the disruptions to classes.
