August 12, 2022 Announcements

It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾

Here are the announcements for Friday, August 12th:

Our 9th grade students will participate in Den Day on Tuesday (August 16th) during 1st through 3rd periods. They will view presentations by the Guidance Counselors and Deans, and representatives from the Media Center and Computer Lab will be there to discuss student expectations in those areas of campus.

There will be a “Blue Crew” meeting on Monday (August 15th) before school at 8:00 am in the NHS Media Center. This is a great opportunity to show your school spirit around campus and at sporting events. Make sure to become a part of the Panther Spirit!

The NHS Newsletter will have a meeting on Wednesday (August 17th) before school at 8:00 am in the NHS Media Center. Stop by if you are interested in helping to publish the news around campus.

The 11th grade SGA will be meeting on Wednesday (August 17th) in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom before school at 8:10 am. If you are interested in being a part of the excitement this year, make sure to stop by!

We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:

*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do

*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something

*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments

Today’s Reminder:

Phones and Headphones: These must be off and out of sight, both in class and during class changes. Cell phones, earbuds, airpods, headphones, and other electronic devices are only permitted to be in use before and after school, and during lunch periods. Students who are discovered to have any types of these devices may result in disciplinary action.

Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day throughout the summer for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something ( Success is best when it is shared BUT most importantly, “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
