It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Tuesday, August 16th:
The NHS Newsletter members will have a meeting tomorrow before school at 8:00 am in the NHS Media Center. Stop by if you are interested in helping to publish the news from around campus.
The 11th grade SGA will be meeting tomorrow in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom before school at 8:10 am. If you are interested in being a part of the excitement this year, make sure to stop by!
The 12th grade SGA will be meeting tomorrow in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom before school at 8:00 am. If you are interested in being a part of the excitement in planning your Senior year, make sure to stop by!
NHS Computer Lab 1 will be open during both Lunch periods starting tomorrow. See Ms. Phillips at the start of your lunch period to obtain a pass. Computers will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Any girls who are interested in playing fall softball this year, please see Mr. O in the NHS Commons Area tomorrow during Lunch A and Lunch B.
The National Honor Society will have a meeting this Thursday (August 18th) before school at 8:10 am in Ms. Schentrup’s classroom. All current members should plan to be there!
There will be an informational meeting for any girls who are interested in playing basketball this year on Thursday (August 18th) during Lunch A and Lunch B in the East TA. See Coach Hughes if you have any questions.
Come on out to the Pep Rally this Thursday night (August 18th) on the Panther football field beginning at 6:00 pm. Join us for some food, fun, performances, and an introduction of the 2022 NHS Panther football team, cheerleaders, and band! There will also be Panther merchandise available for purchase to get ready for the season.
The SGA student body officers will meet this Friday (August 19th) before school at 8:00 am in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom. Don’t be late!
If you are interested in participating in the archery team this year, there will be an informational meeting next Monday (August 22nd) after school from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom. See Mr. Marlowe if you have any questions.
The Blue Crew will meet at Panther field on Friday night in the student section next to the NHS band. Make sure you’re on time showing your Panther Pride!
