It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Monday, September 26th:
PLEASE NOTE: ALL EVENTS SCHEDULED DURING THIS WEEK ARE SUBJECT TO UPDATES ON HURRICANE IAN. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AS IT IS RECEIVED.
The ACPS Food Truck will be here tomorrow and they will have some new items for you to try out: Street Tacos and Nachos with Pork Carnitas.
Representatives from High School High Tech will be on the NHS Campus tomorrow during Lunch A and Lunch B. Make sure to stop by and get some information about this fantastic program!
Any girl interested in participating in this year’s weightlifting team, can sign up on Wednesday (September 28th) and Thursday (September 29th) in the NHS Commons Area during Lunch A and Lunch B.
Conditioning for girls’ soccer will be after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next Tuesday (September 21st) from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm at the NHS Track. Make sure to bring tennis shoes and a workout mat or towel.
Conditioning for boys’ soccer will be after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next Tuesday (September 21st) from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm at the Easton Sports Complex. Please see Mr. Carr if you have any questions.
PANTHERS, tickets for all NHS home sporting events will be sold at the entry gate of each game as well as online at https://gofan.co/app/school/FL17054 (children ages 4 and younger do not need a ticket). We will have a limited amount of change at each game, so please help us by having the exact ticket amount, if possible. Go Panthers!
We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
Today’s Reminder:
Tardies: Tardies impact school success and student behavior, are a distraction to all students, and cause a disruption in teaching. Make sure you’re on time every day, to every class. Excessive tardies may result in lunch detention or ISD.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day throughout the summer for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
