October 4, 2022 Announcements
It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Tuesday, October 4th:
Any girl interested in participating in this year’s weightlifting team, can sign up tomorrow and Thursday (October 6th) in the NHS Commons Area during Lunch A and Lunch B. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Ross.
Seniors, if you ordered a Homecoming shirt, they have arrived. Stop by Mr. Marlowe's room to collect yours. If you didn't get a chance to order a shirt, there are a few extras so claim yours fast! They are still only $10.00!
Our National Honor Society is the highest recruiting high school for Dance Marathon in the nation! This means that yesterday we had the most people sign up on DonorDrive.com than any other high school. Our officer team did an amazing job!
The Junior Class SGA will meet in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom before school tomorrow at 8:00 am.
The Senior Class SGA will meet in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom before school tomorrow at 8:00 am.
The Robotics Team will meet after school tomorrow at 3:00 pm in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom.
Throughout the month of October, the DnD Club will be hosting a book drive. There are drop boxes set up around the NHS campus for you to donate your unwanted books! Please see Ms. Phillips if you have any questions.
We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
COVID-19 Guidelines: The wearing of masks is optional on the NHS campus. Please continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing, and don’t share any items.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day throughout the summer for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
